Present Transitive and Intransitive

  - A transitive sentence has a subject and a direct object. In Bambara, the order is "subject + auxilary-marker + noun + verb".

    - Denmùso nin bɛ ji mǐn. : Daughter the (present tense affirmative) water drinks. (The daughter drinks the water.)

  - For present tense, is affirmitive and is negative.

    - Denmùso nin tɛ ji mǐn. : The daughter did not drink water.

  - For intransitive (no direct object), the order is [subject. aux. verb]:

    - Denmùso bɛ/tɛ mǐn. : The daughter drinks / doesn't drink.
